ROME – 46-year-old Paulo Fonseca is the new coach of Roma. The Giallorossi club has made it official on its website. The Portuguese coach has signed a two-year contract with an option for the third year and replaces Claudio Ranieri, who had replaced Eusebio Di Francesco when the season started.

"We are pleased to welcome Paulo Fonseca to the Club". These are the words of President James Pallotta published on the Rome website. Pallotta adds: "Paulo is a young, ambitious technician with international experience, a winning mentality and is known for his brave and offensive idea of ​​football, which will excite our fans".
