ROME – Cristiano Ronaldo , Mayorga withdraws the accusations of rape: case closed. According to reports by Bloomberg, Katheryn Mayorga , the woman who had denounced the Portuguese in 2018, accusing him of sexual violence, voluntarily withdrew the accusation. Bloomberg reports that Mayorga signed the "Voluntary dismissal" last month at the state court in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is not yet clear, however, whether the decision was taken by the accuser after reaching an agreement with CR7 .
It all started in the past few months when the weekly "Der Spiegel" had pulled out some documents, obtained through the Football Leaks website including a confidential agreement signed in 2009 by Ronaldo with the woman to avoid revealing the incident on payment of 375,000 dollars
According to the reconstruction of Mayorga , a 25-year-old model at the time, in the summer of 2009 she was raped by the footballer in a hotel room in Las Vegas, where the Portuguese was on vacation. Ronaldo has always proclaimed himself innocent: "I firmly deny it. Rape is an abominable crime, contrary to everything I believe.
