MILAN – After the postponement of Inter-Sampdoria, and of almost all the Serie A matches on Sunday, we are wondering about Inter-Ludogorets next Thursday and the next championship rounds. This Sunday there was little time to make different decisions and all the matches of the teams of the regions affected by the Coronavirus were postponed.
Inter-Ludogorets will not be postponed for Coronavirus. It will be played behind closed doors or in a neutral field.
But in the football calendar there are no spaces for too many recoveries so from the next rounds you will have to play regularly. The next games of Serie A , of the teams of the affected regions, should be played behind closed doors. Instead, we wonder about the Europa League match on Thursday between Inter and Ludogorets.
The Bulgarians are concerned about the many cases of contagion in Lombardy and have asked for clarification from UEFA. The race should not be postponed, at the moment two other hypotheses are being considered: either the match will be played behind closed doors or will be played on a neutral field.
For now there is still no official decision but it should be taken on long notice. UEFA wants to have it played regularly because it is difficult to find a date for recovery but at the same time wants to make the most appropriate decision to protect the two companies involved.
