ISTANBUL (TURKEY) – After a career in the background, Serkan Kırıntılı found a way to be talked about at age 34. Serkan Kırıntılı remedied the fastest expulsion in football history for a goalkeeper. Serkan Kırıntılı got himself thrown out after just 13 seconds. The Konyaspor goalkeeper blocked a ball with his hands out of play and made up an inevitable red (video at the bottom of the article).
Usually the goalkeepers make up for this type of expulsion to foil a clear scoring opportunity, while Serkan Kırıntılı instead came out of his penalty area without realizing it. He did it on a wrong throw of the opponents without being threatened by any attacking opponent. His disinterested gesture surprised everyone. Maybe he too. He was probably still in the head in the locker room and so he came back quickly.
As mentioned above, Serkan Kırıntılı has a modest career behind him. He wore the Adanaspor shirt for eleven games, then moved to Ankaragücü where he played 127 games collecting the beauty of 162 goals. He then moved to Fenerbahçe, a prestigious club in Turkish football, but he never took the field.
In the three years at Fenerbahçe, he was considered above all a second or third goalkeeper. After saying goodbye to Fenerbahçe, he was hired by Çaykur Rizespor. Even here he failed to do well. He played 64 games collecting the beauty of 94 goals and almost never being able to keep the clean sheet.
The best moment of his career, up to this point, was with the Konyaspor jersey. With his current club, he took the field 62 times, collecting 68 goals and was above all able to make his debut with the Turkish national team. With Turkey, he played a total of three games, conceding four goals and doing quite well.
