Serie A: Inter slips to 3rd place, Genoa’s salvation hit in the derby, Brescia relegated to B

Serie A, Inter say goodbye to the Scudetto. The Nerazzurri were blocked by Fiorentina and slipped to 3rd place. Stroke salvation of Genoa in the derby, Brescia mathematically in B.

No Scudetto for Inter. Conte's team was blocked at home by Fiorentina and slipped to third place in Serie A. Now at Juve the success against Udinese is enough to win the tricolor with three days in advance.

In the Europa League area, Roma's goal on the Spal field and Napoli's defeat on the Parma field. At this moment the Giallorossi would reach Napoli in the Europa League group stage while Milan should start from the preliminaries.

All done, or almost, even in the salvation area. Genoa triumphed in the derby against Sampdoria and hooked Udinese at 36 points. Both teams have four points ahead of Lecce three days before the end. The Nerazzurri say goodbye to the Scudetto after an internal match against Fiorentina. Inter has been stopped by the great saves of Terracciano and by the posts hit by Lukaku and Sanchez.

Sampdoria-Genoa 1-2, goal: Criscito (penalty), Gabbiadini and Lerager.

Genoa forward in the derby against Sampdoria thanks to a penalty coldly transformed by the rossoblù flag Mimmo Criscito. The 11-meter shot was awarded for a Colley foul against a wild Goran Pandev.

Sampdoria drew the balance with a sudden flash of Manolo Gabbiadini. Bonazzoli kicked the goal, the ball reached Gabbiadini after a decisive deflection by Criscito. The center-forward blucerchiato scored easily by two steps.

Goal canceled at Genoa at the end of the first half. Lerager had scored but the referee canceled him because thanks to the var he noticed Romero's offside.

In the second half, Genoa went on to win the Serie A derby against Sampdoria thanks to a nice goal by Lerager.

This time nobody can take it away from him because the goal is clearly regular. Lerager started a right foot shot from the edge of the Sampdoria penalty area which went to the edge of the post.

Spal-Roma 1-6, goals: Kalinic, Cerri, Perez, Kolarov, Bruno Peres (two goals) and Nicolò Zaniolo.

Roma took the lead in the 12th minute with Kalinic. The former Fiorentina center forward picked up a defective rejection by Letica on a Pellegrini shot and bagged his fourth league goal by two steps.

In the second half, Brescia shortened the distance with Dessena. Soon after the goal of the final 3 to 1 of Saponara arrived. Bitter defeat for Brescia which is now mathematically relegated to Serie B.

Turin-Verona 1-1, goals: Borini (penalty), Zaza.

Verona took the lead in Turin thanks to a penalty kick transformed by the former Roma and Milan Fabio Borini but the grenades matched the scores with a goal by the bomber Zaza.
