RENNES (FRANCE) – Purchased by ex ds Monchi, for just under € 30 million , Steven Nzonzi represents one of the redundancies with which Rome is forced to deal. The French midfielder had been loaned to Galatasary at the beginning of the season, but things in Turkey did not go in the right direction and so the player today closed his relationship with the Turkish club and moved, always on a temporary basis, to Rennes until as of June 30, 2020 , with the option for an additional year.
Roma transfer market, Nzonzi returns to the game at Rennes after failing at Galatasaray.
Steven Nzonzi has played in five countries: France, England, Spain, Italy and Turkey. At home, he wore the Amiens shirt and is now back with Rennes. In England, he played with Blackburn and Stoke City, in Spain he wore the shirt of Sevilla, in Italy that of Rome and in Turkey that of Galatasaray.
With all these teams, Nzonzi played a total of 447 games scoring 22 goals. On the ex Roma player's bulletin board, there are a Europa League and a World Cup with France. In fact, Nzonzi is part of the French national team where he has played a total of 14 games scoring zero goals (source Ansa).
