ROME – Antonio Conte said no but Rome would have a "plan b" of equal level. According to what reported by "The Daily Telegraph", Pallotta would have given a mandate to his managers to close the deal with Maurizio Sarri. The current Chelsea coach has never entered the heart of the English fans and would gladly return to the Italian soccer league. Sarri is bound by a long-standing friendship with Franco Baldini, Rome's external consultant and Pallotta's right hand man.
