Roma-Porto in the second round of the Champions League: the precedents between the two teams
It will be Roma-Porto in the second round of the Champions League 2018-2019. The first leg will be played at the Olympic stadium on 12 February, while the return, in Portugal, on 6 March.
Rome has reached the second round of second. In Group G, the Giallorossi (9 points) were placed behind Real Madrid (12). On the other hand, Porto , Group D leaders with 16 points, is the team that won five matches in this edition of the Champions League.
There are two precedents between Rome and Porto. And both in favor of the "Dragons". In the first case, in the eighth of the 1981-1982 Cup Winners' Cup, the luisitani won 2-0 in the first leg in Portugal and managed to keep the result in the return match: at the Olimpico it ended 0-0. Network remained untouched also during the last match against the Giallorossi in the Capital, in the Champions League play-offs in the 2016-2017 season: a 3-0 that condemned Spalletti's team to "relegation" in the Europa League, after the draw for 1 -1 on the way to the Estadio Do Dragao.
