Atletico Madrid-Juventus will be in the knockout stages of the Champions League. The round trip will take place on 20 February in Madrid, at the Wanda Metropolitano, while the return, at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, is scheduled for 12 March.

The Atletico arrived in the second round of the second. In Group A, despite the biancorossi closed on equal points (13) with Borussia Dortmund, the direct clash was in favor of the Germans. Juventus, however, with two defeats in the European path, managed to close in the head in Group H, ahead of Manchester United.

Juve and Atletico have faced twice in the Champions League: they were the groups of 2014-2015, and in that case the Cholchoneros won in Madrid thanks to Arda Turan, while in Turin ended 0-0. Thanks to that draw the bianconeri passed the turn and eventually reached the final in Berlin (lost to Barcelona).
