TRENTO – Federica Pellegrini is getting ready for two really tough years. The swimmer at the Festival della Sport organized in Trento by Gazzetta and Trentino talks about her records, the one of the 200 style that is the only one left to her, and her future goals.
Pellegrini said: "The record I hold most is that of the 200 sl (1'52" 98). Apart from that it is the only remnant, but actually it is the one I am most fond of. If I have to think about the highest moment of my career I say Beijing 2008, together with the World Championships in Rome the following year, I think it was the best moments experienced by an athlete. I experienced unique sensations that I still feel today ".
After dissolving the reserves on his competitive future, the Venetian athlete is ready for the new season: "In 2019 there are the World Championships in Korea and then the next year I will do my fifth Olympics in Tokyo. It will be a tough preparation in these two years and with my coach Matteo then we will decide what to do, but it is a personal thing between me and him ", he concludes.
