NYON – UEFA has started the reimbursement procedures for coupons for the 2020 European Championships , postponed to 2021.
The request must be made by 2 pm on May 26th, and only concerns tickets that cannot be used by buyers.
For those who intend to confirm their place for the matches scheduled for 2021, there will be no need to implement any procedure: the tickets will remain valid.
The refund procedure – which will be carried out on the same credit card from which the purchase was made, while only in the event of expiry of the same by bank transfer – will begin by next June, after the closing of the Portal for the refund of the tickets.
After confirmation of the new match schedule for the 2021 tournament, if the ticket holder is unable to participate in the postponed tournament, another opportunity will be given to return the coupons and receive a full refund.
This decision was made by UEFA to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
Euro 2020 , or better say Euro 2021 , will be the first traveling European football championship in history.
Obviously for safety reasons it was unlikely to dispute it during the coronavirus pandemic.
For this reason, the competition has been moved to next summer (source Ansa).
