BRESCIA – Brescia-Fiorentina 0-0 in the postponement of the 8th matchday of the Serie A soccer championship played on the ground of the Mario Rigamonti stadium. Serious injury to Dessena, who left the camp. Balotelli played only the second half, without however having an impact. After the game Super Mario connected on Instagram to protest against the referee: "Why didn't he look at the var?" He wrote this referring to Pulgar's foul on Dessena which caused the injury of the Brescia player. Pulgar was only admonished while Balotelli wanted red.
"We hope that for Dessena this is just a big bruise: he was so scared after the accident, because he suffered the blow right in the same leg that he had seriously injured long ago. We wait for the exams and we hope. Emotionally this episode has upset us, the team has suffered and in the end, after all, it went well ".
So Eugenio Corini commented to Sky Sport on the challenge between Brescia and Fiorentina. "I liked the spirit of the team – continued the 'swallows' coach – and, despite suffering, we always managed to stay afloat. The calendar has not helped us so far because, apart from Inter, we had to see it with all the big names in the league. Too bad, because the last three goals that canceled us in Serie B would be good. We lost points, but showed that in Serie A we can also stay there, despite having so many newcomers ”.
