Dejan Danza leaves football at 24: "The reasons for my choice".

Dejan Danza retires from football at the age of 24.

The reasons for his choice are explained in a long post published on Instagram that we report in full.

“For everyone today is a usual Monday. But for me no; I don't even know where to start, especially if it's such a painful choice.

I would like to start with thanks to the people who shared this wonderful journey:
Thanks Franco Peroni for the person you are.

Thanks to Andrea Maniero for believing in me as a player.
Thanks Karel Mister Zeman for treating me like a son and wanted at all costs this year too.

Thanks Simone Silvia Quintieri Modi for the closeness in every situation.
Certainly thanks to my family for being close to me in good times and in dark times.

I would also have many people to say a few bad words to but that is not part of me and this part we avoid
Thanks to all the coaches, the teammates, the physiotherapists for putting up with me with my thousands of injuries.

I wanted to give a special thanks to three fans:
– thanks to you Turin hearts for the affection you have shown me
– thank you Reggiani grenade hearts for the ovation on the pitch against Feralpi.

– thanks to you neroverdi for the standing ovation against teramo.
These are things that go beyond everything, inexplicable emotions.
I will always be grateful to this sport, it took me to the moon playing SanSiro; I won a Scudetto; I made many fans happy.

This is enough and fills me with pride.
Obviously you will see me in the suburban fields because I can't stay without a football. Just for fun.
