Cristiano Ronaldo left Madeira, returning to Turin after two months

ROME – And in the end Cristiano Ronaldo managed to leave with his private jet from Madeira to Turin.

Juventus, in fact, waiting to understand what will happen, in these hours has called all its players to resume training.

Foreign Juventus players who have left Italy will now have to return and undergo mandatory quarantine.

But quarantine isn't the only problem.

The Press writes:

CR7, in fact, yesterday was stuck on the island of Madeira due to the flight restrictions imposed by the Portuguese authorities. The black and white striker's private jet left only in the evening for Madrid, where he stopped, with the staff on board to reopen his villa. Today, barring new surprises, the same plane is expected to bring Ronaldo back to Turin after almost two months of absence.

The Portuguese champion had left Italy on 9 March, after the last game played and won by Juventus (2-0 at Inter in an empty Stadium), and is now ready to return to the field to close the season.

The return plans, however – reads the press – are not simple for the bianconeri. The club waits for Higuain from Argentina (including contractual abdominal pains) plus Brazilians Alex Sandro, Danilo and Douglas Costa: there are no certain times.

Others should have an easier life. In France there is Rabiot and Matuidi for a few days, after being cured by the coronavirus, while De Ligt is in Holland, Szczesny in Poland and Khedira in Germany. The only one to have already returned and out of quarantine is Pjanic. (Source: La Stampa).
