Christian Mbulu died suddenly at 23, he played with Millwall and Motherwell

MORECAMBE (ENGLAND) – The world of English football is mourning the sudden death of Christian Mbulu at the age of 23 .

At the moment the causes that led to the death of the young English player are not known .

Despite his young age, Mbulu has already played in several clubs in the UK.

The defender played with Brentwood Town, Millwall , Canvey Island, Braintree Town, Motherwell, Crewe Alexandra and Morecambe Football Club.

Mbulu played a total of 97 appearances scoring 3 goals.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Christian Mbulu, a former club player.

The English footballer remained in the heart of Motherwell, in fact the Scottish club wanted to remember him with the following press note.

“Christian was with us in the 2018/19 season, making six first team appearances and three more for our Under 20s in the Challenge Cup.

Twenty-three years old, he left Fir Park in May 2019 and continued to play in England with Crewe Alexandra and then Morecambe.

"We are shocked to hear of the news of Christian's death," said Motherwell President Jim McMahon.

“He was such a nice, nice and dedicated young man who we loved having with us in Fir Park.

“Our thoughts are for his family during this incredibly difficult period.

We hope their privacy is respected by everyone as they try to find out the reason that caused his death. ".
