Bundesliga, Marcel Sabitzer had the coronavirus and was hidden

ROME – Bundesliga controversy: Did Marcel Sabitzer of Leipzig have had the coronavirus and kept it hidden?

The Austrian international – says Corriere dello Sport – has returned to the goal (against Mainz) after a mysterious quarantine, however kept secret by its leaders.

"No comment" was the official reaction of the company yesterday, after both Bild and Kicker revealed in detail the reason for the stop of the number 7 and vice-captain of the red and white of Julian Nagelsmann.

“In the first series of tests, at the end of April, before group training sessions were authorized – says Corriere dello Sport – Sabitzer and a physiotherapist from the team-team tested positive. The case was communicated to the Leipzig health office, confidentially, as required by the League protocol. The player, therefore, on prescription from the municipal doctor, had to spend two weeks of domestic isolation ".

Until yesterday's return to the field (and goal).

Goals and return to the field after a quarantine. Quarantine, this is the problem, which has however been kept hidden. Quite right? Mistaken?

In Germany in these hours the news is causing much discussion.

And the discussion in Germany is probably an anticipation of what will happen in Italy when, and if, the championship starts again. (Source: The Corriere dello Sport).
