BOLOGNA – "I have always tried to honor the commitments of my life with courage, facing it with courage, especially in the last period". Sinisa Mihajlovic is an excited one who, on the eve of her Bologna's championship match against Turin, received the '2019 Courage Prize', set up by the Quarto Potere Foundation and the Turin newspaper CronacaQui tonight.

"I never lacked courage, never lacked it, as a man, as a footballer and now as a coach – observes Mihajlovic – I am happy to receive the prize here, because Turin is a city that has remained in my heart".

The coach has in fact trained the Bull for a season and a half.
The award was given to the technician, who is fighting against leukemia, "for the intrepid strength with which he faced the disease, a shining example for those who live a difficult moment in their existence".

Despite the health problems, Mihajlovic has been able to give his Bologna a strong football identity. The rossoblù are eleventh in the standings, far from the relegation zone and with an eye to the Europa League zone. From this point of view, the fate of Bologna Calcio will be decided in the second leg. The first leg was characterized by very positive results (source ANSA).
