MILAN – Boban is no longer a Milan manager. Everyone already knew it, but now the official statement of the AC Milan club has arrived. The former Croatian footballer paid dearly for his declarations against the CEO Gazidis, guilty, according to him, of having started a negotiation with Rangnick for the Milan bench. The other manager of the technical area, Maldini, should leave the club, with coach Pioli, at the end of the season.

“AC Milan confirms that it has communicated to Mr. Zvonimir Boban the termination of the contract with immediate effect for the role of Chief Football Officer of the Club. The Club thanks Zvonimir for his work in these 9 months and wishes him the best for the professional future.
The Club confirms full confidence in Stefano Pioli and his technical staff, and looks with optimism to the second part of the season, with the determination to continue the growth path to return to the top of world football with a project consistent with the parameters of fair play financial.
