Trump against the NBA protest: “I am a political organization”. And the son-in-law jokes

The Blake case also arrives in the NBA with the players who have decided to boycott the play-offs. A protest that Trump did not like.

The NBA seems ready to return to the field after the protests . It all started with the Milwaukee Bucks, who had decided not to take the field in protest for the Jacob Blake case, an African American injured by the police in Wisconsin. From there the solidarity of many other athletes and sports disciplines started. After a meeting between the players, however, it was decided that the playoffs will resume. It is likely that he will be back on the pitch already in the night between Friday and Saturday.

In the last few hours, however, US President Donald Trump has commented on the players' stance by calling "the NBA a political organization". The tycon then explained that "the National Guard is doing a good job in Kenosha", the city of protests after Blake was injured by the police.

Shortly before, it was President's son-in-law-adviser Jared Kushner who made fun of the NBA protest: "Players can afford the luxury of taking an evening off, a luxury that most Americans cannot afford." (source ANSA)
