Thierry Henry new coach of Monaco: "It's a special part of me …"
PRINCIPAL OF MONACO – "I am proud to announce that I have accepted the position of coach of Monaco . In recent months I had received several proposals, but Monaco is a special part of me, since I made my debut in football (as a player) with this great club ".
With this long tweet Thierry Henry informs that he is the new coach of the Monegasque team, where he replaces the Portuguese Leonardo Jardim.
Subsequently also Monaco has confirmed the arrival of the French explaining that "Thierry Henry returns home", or in the club that launched him before giving it to Juventus, where however he had no luck. Present at the recent World Cup in Russia as assistant to Belgium coach Roberto Martinez, Henry signed a contract with Monaco until June 30, 2021.
