Brescia forces exonerated coaches to work, AIAC on a war footing but then the denial of the Cellino club arrives

BRESCIA – The coaches association "denounces the serious and irresponsible conduct put in place by the Brescia football club towards the previously exempted coaches and trainers".

This is the beginning of a hard press release issued by the association led by Renzo Ulivieri against the club chaired by Massimo Cellino who called tomorrow morning at 9, at the Brescia sports center, some collaborators of Fabio Grosso's technical staff and Eugenio Corini called up to help manage the preparation of the players.

All this is stated in the press release “despite the fact that the suspension of all the activities of the first team up to and including 28 March emerges from the club's official website…

This convocation appears to be completely illegitimate and instrumental, as well as contrary to the correctness and good faith in the execution of the contract, taking into account the seriousness of the situation that is affecting the Brescia province in recent days … The AIAC strongly stigmatizes and censures the initiative ".

Brescia responded to AIAC denying having summoned its former members to the sports center.

“Brescia Calcio would like to point out that the call-up for tomorrow, Wednesday 18 March 2020, at the Torbole Casaglia Sports Center has been forwarded to contract base technicians, including technical collaborators and athletic trainers.

This call was not sent to the first or second coaches relieved of their duties during this season.

The reason for the meeting is given by the fact that, given the current health situation, an evaluation had already been made for a few weeks regarding the possibility of planning the activity with single player training or at most in groups of two players , divided into the day and distributed over the entire surface of the Sports Center ".

“With a view to planning such an activity and with the aim of guaranteeing the maximum safety of its athletes and members, it was deemed appropriate to draw on all possible resources, including staff under contract with Brescia Calcio.

Finally, Brescia Calcio specifies that in view of tomorrow's meeting, to protect the health of all, it will guarantee compliance with all the safety measures indicated by the Ministerial Decree relating to the behaviors to be kept in the workplace "(source ANSA).
