Zaniolo, rupture of the cruciate ligament of the left knee. The Giallorossi curse continues

New serious injury for Nicolò Zaniolo. The footballer, engaged with the national team in the Netherlands for the Nations League, broke the cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Nicolò Zaniolo was injured again: rupture of the cruciate ligament of the left knee.

The first, negative, sensations were confirmed this morning after the routine checks.

The young Roma talent got hurt during the Nations League match won by Italy against the Netherlands.

Only on January 12th Zaniolo collapsed at the Olimpico, in the match with Juve, after the cruciate ligament of his right knee collapsed.

The confirmation came this morning, September 8, after the resonance held at Villa Stuart.

The surgery will probably take place tomorrow always in the Roman clinic.

To confirm the extent of the injury is the journalist of Il Tempo Filippo Biafora in connection with Tele Radio Stereo.

Zaniolo, new ligament injury. Just bad luck?

Zaniolo's injury is just one of many in the Roma home. Sixteen players with knee injuries, four of them – including Zaniolo – have broken it twice.

In total, 19 crusaders have been injured in the last 6 years.

Maybe just a case, just bad luck, but in Trigoria we had also worked to reduce, or at least prevent, this type of injury.

Some Bernardini fields, due to the ground on which they stand, were too rigid (even in the past) and could almost be compared to asphalt: this is why Roma, which in the last two years has completely refurbished the sports center, has decided to redo them, even calling Real Madrid experts for an opinion.
