ROME – At the end of the match between Roma and Fiorentina, Nicolò Zaniolo had issued statements about his future that were very different from those issued to the Iene recently. After Roma-Fiorentina he declared: "Stay in Rome? We'll see, I think about having fun and playing soccer. If I want to stay? We'll see…". At the Iene , on the other hand, he declared that he wanted to stay at Rome and added that he admired the flags like Totti and Del Piero. This metamorphosis was not welcomed by Roma fans who started attacking him on social networks.
Zaniolo, clarification through Instagram: "I was misinterpreted".
