Transfer market, Jeremy Menez at Reggina: announcement expected by the hour

REGGIO CALABRIA – The Reggina transfer market is starting with a bang.

The Calabrian club, fresh from promotion to Serie B , would have reached an agreement with the former footballer of PSG, Roma and Milan Jeremy Menez.

Menez is 33 years old and has a prestigious career behind him but in recent times he has struggled (to put it mildly …).

For the past three years, Menez has been playing with the dropper and traveling the world to find luck.

After disappointing in Turkey with Antalyaspor , and playing intermittently in Mexico with America, Menez even ended up in French Serie B with Paris Football Club.

In short, in the past three years Menez has played just over 40 games.

Very little if you think that Serie B has more in one season.

But Reggina wants an important name to bring enthusiasm to the environment and is convinced that it can regenerate what was once nicknamed " FenoMenez ".

The French footballer needs no introduction as we know him very well in Italy.

Equipped with good technique, he can play many roles on the offensive front: at a young age he played mainly as a midfielder or winger, sometimes as a second striker, while in Milan, under the guidance of the former coach Filippo Inzaghi, he was often used as a center forward .

He is quick and skilled in dribbling. He is also an excellent penalty taker.

Going back to his Italian experiences, he played with Roma from 2008 to 2011 playing 113 games with twelve goals in total.

With the Giallorossi he showed great talent but also a discontinuity that convinced the Capitoline team to sell him.

After three years in Paris, where he won several trophies with Paris Saint Germain, Menez returned to our country thanks to the transfer market to wear the Milan shirt.

In Milan, under the technical management of Inzaghi, he played the best season of his career with 16 goals in 35 games.

The rest is history (sources Alfredo Pedullà and Wikipedia).
