PARIS (FRANCE) – It is stormy in France for the decision of the local football federation to permanently stop the championship.
The French federation did not limit itself to this but has already issued its verdicts using the ranking at the time of the interruption.
PSG is champion of France , Marseille and Rennes go to the Champions League.
Lyon, which is still in the running to win the Champions League, will remain out of the European cups after twenty years of consecutive appearances.
They were relegated to Ligue 2, the French Serie B, Toulouse and Amiens, while Lorient and Lens were promoted to the first division.
The championship ended on the field but certainly not in court.
Many appeals are expected from the teams that have been penalized by this decision by the French federation.
The first club to appeal will be Toulouse , a team that has been relegated following this provisional ranking that has become final.
