Sofia Goggia wins the Crans Montana downhill: now she dominates the World Cup standings

Sofia Goggia triumphed in the downhill world cup in Crans Montana (Switzerland), which began more than two hours late due to a very strong wind. Thanks to this success, the third downhill, the Lombard champion dominates the classification of the discipline cup.

The Olympic champion closes her test with stopping the clock in 1: 10.10. Second is the Czech Ester Ledecká, at +0.20; third the American Breezy Johnson, at +0.57. Very heavy fourth place for Petra Vlhova, which puts another important piece for the general.

Equal fifth were the Swiss Jasmine Flury and the German Kira Weidle (+0.95), who preceded the Swiss Priska Nufer (+1.05) and the Austrian Mirjam Puchner (+1.07). The Top-10 is completed by Federica Brignone (+1.09) and an excellent Nadia Delago (+1.15), at her best result of her career in the World Cup. Close to the top ten, Elena Curtoni (+1.17) and Laura Pirovano (+1.22) close. Much further back Marta Bassino (+2.51).

Dominik Paris third in Kitzbuehel

Third place for Dominik Paris in the world cup downhill on the Streif slope in Kitzbuehel. The blue, on the first podium of the season, was preceded by just 56 cents from the Swiss Beut Feuz and 40 from the Austrian Matthias Mayer. As for the other Azzurri, Christof Innerhofer finished in 22nd place, Matteo Marsaglia twentieth.
