Sinisa Mihajlovic hospitalized for antiviral therapy

ROME – New hospitalization for Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Sinisa Mihajlovic was hospitalized "at the 'Seragnoli' Hematology Institute to undergo antiviral therapy which may be necessary, as in the case in question, after the donor bone marrow transplant". The University Hospital of Bologna – Policlinico di Sant'Orsola communicates this in a note. "Healthcare professionals believe that the length of hospital stay should be shorter than that of previous hospitalizations."

Mihajlovic publicly announced that he had been suffering from a form of leukemia in mid-July last year. After several courses of treatment, he underwent bone marrow transplantation from an unfamiliar donor on 29 October. About a month after the surgery, he had met the press with the doctors to announce good health.

In Ferrara, in the derby against Spal, Mihajlovic had only taken the field in the second half.

"Mihajlovic? In the first half – said Mihajlovic's tactician Emilio De Leo – he was in the stands for the rain, in the second half he returned to the pitch as soon as the rain was less intense. The problem is the opposite, which if it is on the pitch it is difficult to get it back, if necessary. "
