GEORGIA (UNITED STATES) – The world of American basketball is shaken by the arrest of Shannon Brown.
The former Los Angeles Lakers champion was arrested for aggravated gunshot assault .
Kobe Bryant 's former teammate was released on bail but will still have to answer for the crime .
According to TMZ reports , the incident would have occurred in Tyrone, Georgia.
Two people said that they went to a house with the "for sale" sign to ask for information and that they had been received by Brown.
The situation would have degenerated in a short time, Brown would have started to rail against them saying that his home is not for sale.
Shortly thereafter the ex-champion of the Lakers would have put possible buyers to flight by firing some shots from a firearm without fortunately hitting them.
Shannon Brown played the best years of his career in the Los Angeles Lakers when the star of the Californian team was Kobe Bryant ( who died tragically following a helicopter accident a few months ago).
With the Lakers, Brown has managed to win two consecutive NBA titles in 2009 and 2010.
During his career as a professional basketball player he also dressed in the vests of Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks and Miami Heat.
