The 20 clubs, meeting today, May 13, in a video conference, then reiterated, in the relationship with the licensees of the 2018-2021 audiovisual rights, the need to comply with the payment deadlines set by the contracts to maintain a constructive relationship with them.
As regards the resumption of sporting activities, the date of 13 June for the resumption of the championship was therefore indicated, in accordance with the government's decisions and in accordance with the medical protocols for the protection of players and all professionals.
Given that it will be necessary to close everything by August 2 to make room for the Champions and Europa League, if you really start again on the 13th there would also be space to play the return semi-finals and the Italian Cup final.
Remember that at the end of the championship 12 days are missing, plus four recoveries: Inter-Sampdoria, Atalanta-Sassuolo, Verona-Cagliari and Turin-Parma.
The clubs in recent days have called foreigners back to the base and individual training has already started again.
From next Monday, May 18th, it will finally be possible to start again with the normal group sessions, without obviously those players who are observing the quarantine.
Now everyone is waiting for the final decision of the government, which, according to Spadafora's latest statements, should arrive in about a week.
