ROME – After the end of the championship for the National games, Serie A is back with the championship duel between Juventus and Inter. The Bianconeri won against Bologna trying to reach the Nerazzurri but Conte's team responded with the success of Reggio Emilia, against Sassuolo, coming back from the reigning Italian champions. More detached Atalanta and Naples. The Bergamo players are within five from Juventus, while Napoli is already 6 points away from the top of the standings.
The Juve and Bologna match started with a heartfelt ovation for Sinisa Mihajlovic from the whole Stadium and continued in the name of balance. Juve tried to break away with Cristiano Ronaldo's 701th career goal but Bologna immediately took it up with Danilo.
In the second half, Pjanic signed the decisive goal but the best happened in the final when Santander hit a crossbar and immediately forced Buffon to a miraculous parade on his overturned 94 ′. In the middle, the protests of Bologna for a touch with the hand of De Ligt that was not deemed by rigor by the referee because first the player had touched the ball with his leg.
Not a simple success even for Inter. The Nerazzurri won 4 to 3 in Reggio Emilia at the end of a complicated game in the final. Inter had placed the extension thanks to the 4 to 1 result of two goals from Lukaku and Lautaro but in the final part of the match he fell asleep allowing the hosts to shorten the distances up to 3 to 4. Fortunately Conte arrived the success that allows him to return to one less than Juve.
Atalanta has "committed suicide" on the Lazio field. The Bergamo men had closed the first half on the three at zero and were masters of the field but in the second half they pulled the plug because they were already sure of success and allowed the biancocelesti to return to the game. The race ended amid controversy because Atalanta protested for the two penalties awarded to Lazio, decisive for the final 3 to 3.
Gasperini spoke of non-existent penalties resulting from the intent of cunning, the biancoceleste company responded by stating the exact opposite and defending the professionalism of the Campania striker.
Less controversy in Naples where the hosts won, not without suffering, against Verona consolidating the fourth place, last useful to qualify for the Champions League, and taking away one from Atalanta. The race was decided by a brace from Milik who took two goals in just three league appearances. Important as the goals of the Pole, the parades of Meret on the conclusions of Lazovic and Stepinski.
The fifth force of the championship is Cagliari. The Sardinians have won two to zero against Spal, thanks to Nainggolan's stunning goal and Farago's mark, and have overtaken Roma in the standings. The Giallorossi have not gone beyond zero to zero in Genoa, against Sampdoria, at the end of a rough race with few shots and lots of beating.
Only two conclusions in a network in over 90 minutes, that of Bonazzoli, a parade by Pau Lopez, and that of Pastore, a breath coming out. Roma lost Cristante and Kalinic due to injury, had to play Dzeko with a protective mask and ended up in ten men due to the red remedied by Kluivert (who will miss Milan).
In the postponement of 18 on Sunday, Parma paved Genoa by seriously endangering the bench of Aurelio Andreazzoli. The rossoblù coach could be excused in the next few hours because his team is in the relegation zone together with Sampdoria and Spal.
Parma has dominated and won with merit. Cornelius triplet and markings for Kucka and Kulusevski. The goal of the Genoa flag was signed by Pinamonti. Too little to keep Andreazzoli quiet.
The day was closed by Stefano Pioli's debut on the Milan bench. The Rossoneri were blocked on equal terms by an excellent Lecce. A protagonist on each side, Calhanoglu shone in the Milan ranks while Calderoni was decisive for Lecce.
Calhanoglu opened the match in the first half with a right that surprised Gabriel, then in the second half he was the protagonist of a great play with the heel that led to his cross for Piatek who had to do nothing more than bagging in two steps.
In the middle the momentary tie of Lecce with Babacar. The former Fiorentina striker had his penalty saved by Donnarumma but then scored on the rebound. At 93 ', Calderoni set the match on the definitive two by two thanks to a bolide with the left from outside the penalty area that left no way out for Donnarumma.
It is a rather heavy draw because it does not allow the Rossoneri to approach the ranking area where the teams are fighting for a place in the next European cups. With a victory, Milan would have even led to minus four points from the Champions zone. For Lecce it is a further step forward in the key of salvation.
