ROME – Benassi (Fiorentina) and Politano (Inter) will skip the next two rounds of the championship. Both were expelled during the last day of Serie A: the first, already warned, "for having voluntarily hit the ball with his hands, preventing the scoring of a goal" in the match at Chievo; the second "for having addressed an injurious expression to the race director". A day was inflicted by the sports judge in Mattiello (Bologna, a serious game foul) and Fabian Ruiz (Naples, double booking), also expelled.
The other players disqualified
Players not expelled: one day in Barella (Cagliari), Cassata (Frosinone), Cristante and Nzonzi (Rome), Helander (Bologna), Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio), Petagna (Spal), Praet (Sampdoria), Rolon (Genoa) . Fines: 15 thousand euros to Milan "for having its supporters intoned an insulting chorus of territorial matrix" and 12 thousand euros to Rome for a smoke bomb launched by its fans in the sector occupied by opponents in Bergamo, and a second smoke on the playing field.
The social reactions to the two rounds in Politano

The red in Politano seems really incomprehensible.
But in the field there is Maresca so we must trust him.– Tancredi Palmeri (@tancredipalmeri) 27 January 2019
