Ronaldinho pays 1.6 million dollars to get out of prison but remains under house arrest

ASUNCION (PARAGUAY) – While the whole world is grappling with the coronavirus, Ronaldinho is trying to get out of a bad judicial situation that sees him protagonist in Paraguay.

Ronaldinho and brother Assis were jailed for entering Paraguay with fake passports.

At first, their request for house arrest had been rejected by the judge, but after 32 days in prison they managed to get them in exchange for $ 1.6 million.

Ronaldinho and Assis will not be able to return to Brazil yet and will spend house arrest in the luxurious Palmaroga hotel in the center of Asuncion.
