ROME – He had a fake passport. For this reason, Ronaldinho was stopped in Paraguay during the night between Wednesday and Thursday. To tell the truth, the news is still not entirely clear.

Ronaldinho, whose passport was removed in 2018 for environmental crimes, was in the South American country to participate in a charity initiative for some disadvantaged children. But the Brazilian, after a routine check, has now been stopped for possession of false documents.

Ronaldinho is currently in custody in the hotel where he stayed with his brother.

IlPosticipo.it writes:

"The Brazilian – the website reads – had to present a free assistance program for children this Thursday, but now he will have to explain why he would have entered Paraguay with a passport that reports a different nationality".

In addition to Ronaldinho, his brother was also arrested. At least so it seems from the first information:

“The custody order, explains the Minister of the Interior, also extends to Dinho's brother, Roberto, who traveled with him. Mundo Deportivo reports that the two will remain in the custody of the agents inside the hotel, pending the decision whether to take them to prison or not ".

Now all that remains is to wait for the next few days to understand what will happen to the former Brazilian champion.
