ROME – Two days after the derby, Lazio's ultras come back to tarnish Anne Frank's memory. A black writing "Romanista Anna Frank" with swastika and code "00100 SSL" appeared on a stretch of the boundary wall that delimits the Palatine in front of the Circus Maximus. The sentence was immediately removed by local Capitol Police officers. The episode, commented the mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi , "makes me horrified".
"This crap is not cheering, it is not football – continued the mayor – I thank the Pics of the Local Police Roma Capitale for the immediate intervention of removal of the vile written".
The comment by Lazio Region President Nicola Zingaretti is also very hard : "Once again some criminals use football to launch their squalid insults. The Rome derby must be a moment of great participation, competition, respect and even irony. The rest is just a vile demonstration of ignorance. "
Saturday night is scheduled for the Lazio-Roma league derby, last year some ultras biancocelesti had attached to the Olympic stadium of the cards with Anna Frank dressed in the yellow shirt. For those stickers, Lazio has paid a very high fine , but obviously it was not enough.
The Rome article , written "Romanista Anna Frank" with swastika signed ultras Lazio. Two days from the derby seems to be the first on Blitz daily .
