Rome, Nicolò Zaniolo: perfectly successful intervention in Innsbruck

Rome, Zaniolo's intervention was perfectly successful at the Hochrum clinic in Innsbruck.

Nicolò Zaniolo , a Roma player, underwent surgery on his left knee cruciate today by Professor Fink at the Hochrum clinic in Innsbruck, the operation was perfectly successful.

The intervention “ended successfully. The player will remain in the Austrian clinic for the next three / four days ”, announced Roma.

For Zaniolo it is the second serious knee injury in a few months. In fact, during last season's Roma-Juventus, Zaniolo remedied the broken cruciate in his right knee.

After a very long rehabilitation, he returned to the field at the end of the season (thanks to the long Serie A stop due to the coronavirus lockdown).

The Roma baby phenomenon had approached this preseason with great enthusiasm. In fact, the coronavirus has postponed the European football championship of the year, so Zaniolo was convinced that he was there.

And instead here's another very serious injury that puts his presence in doubt again. This time the young striker got hurt during a national team match.

In fact, Zaniolo remedied this terrible injury to his crusader knee that had not yet been operated on, during the Nations League match between Italy and Holland.

Now the Roma player will begin his recovery path just in view of the next European football championship. Zaniolo should return in March but then he should get back in shape to be part of the blue expedition at Euro 2021 (source Ansa).
