ROME – Qatar Sports Investments would be negotiating to buy Rome . The rumors launched by Milano-Finanza and L'Equipe include Le Parisien, another French newspaper that raises the news of a concrete interest of the Arab fund against the Giallorossi club.
According to Le Parisien, Al Khelafi is thinking of an early farewell to PSG. The big problem, according to the property, would be the taxes to be paid each year to the French state, reaching an amount exceeding one billion euros from 2011 to today. According to Nabil Ennasri, director of L'Observatoire du Qatar, "Qatar's commitment to the PSG would not be at risk and interest in the Giallorossi should be read as a desire to raise awareness that the Persian Gulf country wants to carry forward through the sport. The PSG will therefore no longer be the only team but will remain the flagship in the strategies ".
But if from France insist with the rumors, from Boston arrives punctually the denial of the same James Pallotta , president of the Giallorossi club : "From Qatar would like to buy Rome? But there's nothing true, it's all false. " Like when the rumor of a (rejected) offer of 400 million euros for the acquisition of the club had spread. (source LE PARISIEN – AS ROMA)
