ROME – Lazio beat Napoli by hitting a historical record : they had never won ten games in a row in Serie A. Thanks to the success of Brescia, the team coached by Simone Inzaghi had equaled the record of Sven Goran's nine consecutive victories in Lazio Eriksson between December 1998 and February 1999 (the year before the 2000 championship). Today, with the measurement success against Napoli, he has conquered the absolute record of ten consecutive victories in the championship.

Today's game was not an easy one. Napoli held the field well, conceded a few scoring chances for Lazio, hit a post and lost only to a sensational duck of its goalkeeper Ospina. The team coached by Gattuso, has twice touched the way of the goal with Insigne, who called Strakosha in two miraculous saves, then at the end of the time went very close to the goal with a header from the "Lion King" Llorente rejected near the line of door from Lulic.

Lazio has been less brilliant than usual in the last few meters but has been able to punish the opponent for the only very serious mistake he has made. Ospina tried to dribble Immobile by staining itself with an unforgivable duck. The Colombian goalkeeper should have postponed the ball or at most could have thrown it in a lateral foul.

Instead Ospina tried to dribble past Immobile, lost the ball and gave the Lazio striker the easiest goal with the goal almost empty. Di Lorenzo tried to reject his conclusion but did not make it. Thanks to this network, Immobile is increasingly the top scorer of the championship at 20 goals. Lazio moved to less than three from Juventus and Inter which occupy the first position in the ranking on an equal footing.

The streak with ten consecutive victories for Lazio: 2-1 at Fiorentina, 4-0 at Turin, 2-1 at Milan, 4-2 at Lecce, 2-1 at Sassuolo, 3-0 at Udinese, 3-1 to Juventus, 2-1 to Cagliari, 2-1 to Brescia and 1-0 to Napoli.
