ROME – Live embarrassment for Claudio Ranieri : during the streaming connection with an English broadcaster his wife, Rosanna, suddenly appeared on TV arousing the hilarity of the presenter.
The technician had been interviewed to remember and celebrate the great achievement of Leicester in 2016 in Premier.
The wife of the current Sampdoria manager appeared involuntarily, and quite dumbfounded, on the screen while Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates (along with Gary Neville and Jamie Redknapp) was talking to the former Leicester manager.
To compliment Ranieri was also Jamie Carragher , a former footballer, and he did it on the pages of the Telegraph.
In the section dedicated to English football, he praised the great season of Leicester and the excellent work done by the Roman coach alongside other major companies that have characterized English football.
"Liverpool's current season has certainly been record-breaking and lives up to other top teams such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal," wrote Carragher.
For me, however, none of these clubs, despite their wealth, can be called an extraordinary Premier League champion like Leicester.
