MADRID (SPAIN) – Spanish football is mourning the death of Radomir Antić , the only one to have coached the two teams from Madrid, Real and Atletico, and Barcelona.

Former Serbian footballer and coach Radomir Antić died today in Madrid at the age of 72 after a long illness.

In the news, the media in Belgrade cited sources from Atletico Madrid, a club he had coached in the past and with whom he had won the league and cup in 1996.

Radomir Antić, who lived in the Spanish capital, also coached Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid and the Serbian national team who led the 2010 World Cup. As a player, Radomir Antić, he played in Uzice, Partizan, Fenerbache, Zaragoza, Luton.

Radomir Antić is dead, a successful career worldwide.

After a good career as a footballer, with two league titles under his belt (one in Turkey with Fenerbahce and one in Yugoslavia with Partizan Belgrade), he started his professional coaching career with Partizan.

During his long career as a coach, he trained in Serbia, Spain and China (where he ended his professional career in 2015, five years ago).

There are four trophies on his coaching board, none of which have been won with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
