TURIN – Adrien Rabiot could move to Juventus on the first of July, the summer market's opening day. His contract with the PSG has not been renewed and is due to expire on June 30th. Rabiot has long decided not to renew his contract and for this reason the PSG has put him out in the second half of the season.
As reported by the Spanish television program "El Chiringuito", after being one step away from Barcelona, which then closed for Frenkie de Jong from Ajax, Rabiot would now be ready to start a new adventure in Italy with the Juventus jersey.
For him there would be a contract ready until 2024 for 7 million euros per season. Adrien Rabiot would be Juventus' second second-place reinforcement after the official arrival of Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal.
The 24-year-old Frenchman is an indisputable player from a technical point of view but his rise has often been limited by his tantrums outside the playing field. Rabiot took his first steps in the youth clubs of Créteil-Lusitanos and then moved, in series, to Manchester City and Pau up to the PSG.
Rabiot made his first-team debut in 2012. During that season he scored six appearances with zero goals. To make him mature in football, the PSG lent him to Toulouse. Here Rabiot continued to show his talent totaling 13 appearances with a 1 goal. His season at Toulouse convinced the Psg to bring him back to the base.
With the Parisian shirt he won 19 trophies (5 French championships, 4 French Cups, 5 League Cups and 5 French Super Cups), played 227 games in total, scoring 24 goals.
In the middle of the year, the parties broke and Rabiot was put out of the squad pending his transfer elsewhere to the reopening of the transfer market. The Frenchman was seduced and abandoned by Barcelona and now he could console himself with the arrival at Juventus.
