Premier League, the rules are rewritten: from penalties to celebrations (punished if goals canceled by the VAR)

LONDON – The English Football Association (FA) has announced that next season Premier League matches will undergo some changes that could upset some particular moments of the match. The new regulation involves 7 fundamental elements, from the substitutions to the celebrations after the goal. A series of innovations that players will begin to experiment starting next season.

The first innovation concerns the substitutions : the players involved in the change will have to leave the rectangle of play in the place closest to their position. The new rule wants to reduce the waste of time between the announcement of a substitution and the resumption of the game, but it could stimulate the fans to go beyond the limits of sportsmanship if an opponent leaves the field near the curve.

The second change concerns free kicks : offensive players will no longer be able to disturb the barrier within 30 meters from the door. This decision should result in an increase in cross-tailed crosses in the penalty area. There will also be a new arrangement on the balls returned to the opponent after the referee's signal, with the latter no longer offering the ball to the opponents: the new rule also provides that in the event that the action is stopped in the area of rigor, the game will restart on the goalkeeper's bottom, regardless of who is in possession of the ball and the controversy of the fans.

The fourth rule announced by the British Federation concerns penalty kicks , with goalkeepers who can no longer move to confuse the opponent and will no longer be able to lurk behind the goal line to launch and gain meters to block the ball. This is a very hard rule, but how many referees will apply it to the letter?

The last three innovations concern remittances from the fund , which no longer have to be kicked out of force outside the penalty area, touches of hand on scoring opportunities , which will no longer be allowed even if accidental, and celebrations after the goal, with the player who will be sanctioned by the referee if he runs to celebrate for a goal then canceled by the VAR.
