Poste Italiane, March 31 debut for the soccer team with Mr. Di Livio

ROME – "Kick-off" for the National Poste Italiane ready to debut at the orders of Mr. Angelo Di Livio, the champion of Juventus, Fiorentina and the National team that will lead the Gialloblù team from the bench.

The National Post Office is part of a wide-ranging design supported by the Managing Director, Matteo Del Fante, and by the Head of Corporate Affairs, Giuseppe Lasco, with whom the company aims at enhancing sport as a vehicle for integration and cohesion between colleagues promoting team spirit and spreading a message of participation and fair competition.

Furthermore, through the activities of the national football team, Poste Italiane will also be able to multiply the opportunities for initiatives of solidarity and proximity to the territories, interpreting its vocation as a socially responsible company in a popular and entertaining way.

Mister Di Livio selected 30 players at the end of a two-day internship and planned the preparation of the Gialloblù team in view of the team's debut on March 31st at the “Mancini” stadium in Fano, for the cartel meeting that will see it in the field with the National Singers, and the subsequent competitive commitments scheduled for 2019. The proceeds of the Fano match will be donated to Tma Onlus, the social cooperative that deals with therapeutic assistance to people suffering from autism spectrum disorder.

There are two requisites required to participate in the selection: to be an employee of Poste Italiane and a membership with an amateur football club. The athletes of the company, whose average age is about 35 years, represent the whole country homogeneously: 12 come from the North, 9 from the Center and 9 from the South.
