Parma-Inter and Berni’s ‘record’: second expulsion without ever taking the field

PARMA – Tommaso Berni has been playing, so to speak, for six years at Inter but has never been on the pitch. Yet this year he has already remedied two expulsions. A real record for one who participates in fixed bench games .

After his protests against the referee Manganiello, in the stormy final match of Inter-Cagliari, here is the red of Parma for protests against the race director Maresca.

Berni is a product of Inter's youth sector and he played 7 seasons with the Nerazzurri without ever taking the field (this is also a sort of record …).

This year Berni is the third goalkeeper for the Nerazzurri behind Samir Handanovic and Padelli. But Berni was not always a panchinaro. If we just remove Inter, during his career he played 123 games conceding 144 goals.

The only trophy on its wall is the Italian Super Cup won with the Lazio shirt in 2009. Just against 'his' Inter in Beijing.

During his career, Berni has played in Italy with Inter, Lazio, Ternana, Salernitana, Sampdoria and Turin . Berni also boasts two experiences abroad.

The goalkeeper played in England, at the beginning of his career, with Wimbledon and in the following years he also played in Portugal with the Braga jersey.
