Especially in the first half, the Azzurri should have closed the match with at least a two-goal advantage. The failed goal from Chiesa on an assist to Belotti's kiss was sensational.

However, this result does not hurt because the Azzurri maintain the top of the standings plus one over the Netherlands and Poland. For the passage of the round, next Wednesday's match against the Netherlands in Bergamo will be decisive.

Church grace the hosts.

Shortly after, a great goal opportunity also for Pellegrini. Cross from the right by Chiesa and header from the blue attacking winger that ends out of a breath.

First great goal opportunity for Poland in the first half. Klich evades the offside trap and crosses in the middle for Lewandowski, the Bayern striker is miraculously anticipated by Emerson with a great defensive diagonal.

The first half ended on the result of zero to zero, better the blues from the point of view of the game but lacked clarity in front of goal.

In the second half, the game was more balanced.

The Azzurri were close to the net with Emerson who was stopped by a great exit from Fabianski, while the hosts were about to place the bang in the final minutes with a sure shot by Linetty deflected in a corner kick by Acerbi.

Mancini tried them all to win the game, he brought in Kean and the three Sassuolo stars – Locatelli, Berardi and Caputo – but the match never went from zero to final zero.
