NAPLES – Napoli placed a big transfer market hit during this January session. The Neapolitans have hired Diego Demme , former Leipzig player and median of the German national football team. Twelve million euros will go to the German club, two million euros per season to the midfielder for four years. With the arrival in Naples, Demme makes his dad's dream come true, he is a big fan of the Campania club.
As you can perfectly guess from the name and surname of the footballer, Demme is the son of a Calabrian who moved to Germany for work reasons. Demme's dad was born in Calabria but has always cheered for Napoli. He is so fond of Napoli that he called his son Diego in honor of Diego Armando Maradona who has always been his idol.
Demme will not be the only Napoli transfer market hit in January, very important steps forward have also been made for Lobotka. After a long negotiation, the footballer should move from Celta Vigo to Naples for about twenty million euros.
This is a very important figure for Napoli but it is worth it because Lobotka is a complete midfielder who has quantity to quality. The purchase of Lobotka was strongly "sponsored" by Marek Hamsik, his compatriot who made the history of the Campania club.
