ROME – Rafael Nadal confirms himself king of Rome.
The Spanish tennis player , defending champion of the Italian Internationals, defeated the Serbian Novak Djokovic in three sets (6-0 4-6 6-1) in two hours and 25 minutes of play. For Nadal it is the ninth career success on the red earth of the Foro Italico. At the end of the final, Djokovic recognized the value of the opponent and admitted to being very tired from a physical point of view.
