VERONA – Sinisa Mihajlovic surprised everyone. The Serbian technician had promised that he would fight leukemia with all his strength to defeat it and is fulfilling his promise. Although it was not announced in Verona, the Bologna coach wanted to be there to load the team ahead of the season debut in Serie A.
Mihajlovic wanted to be physically close to his boys on the evening of his debut in the new Serie A in Bologna, after 40 days in the hospital where he underwent the first part of the treatment against leukemia.
Mihajlovic chose a sports outfit. He presented himself at the Bentegodi stadium in Verona with the Bologna suit and hat. He did not follow the game sitting and in silence but actively participated in the movements of his players following the match standing.

"Mr. Sinisa Mihajlovic has joined the team and will be on the bench tonight." The official, on his official account of Instagram, is Bologna, which this evening debuted in the league with a draw on the Verona field.
