ROME – Corinna Schumacher , 49, wife of legendary F1 driver Michael broke the silence with an update on her husband's health: "He is a warrior and will not give up". The musician Sascha Herchenbach told of having composed a song "Born to Fight", Born to fight, in honor of Schumacher and to have sent the CD.
Corinna had responded with a letter that represented the opportunity to get news of the sample: "It's nice to receive so many good wishes and many beautiful words that represent a great support for our family. We all know that Michael is a warrior and will not give up ".
Herchenbach revealed the existence of the letter and the content in an interview with the German magazine Bunte. "I did not expect to receive an answer, the letter is handwritten and signed by Corinna on the personal card". It is not known when he wrote the letter but Herchenbach wrote the song in December 2014, a year after the Schumacher incident.
The seven-time Formula One world champion fell while skiing with his son Mick in Meribel, in the French Alps, on December 29, 2013. Hospitalized where he underwent several surgeries, he spent the next six months in a coma but the family tragedy treated as an exclusively personal fact and since then the news on recovery has been very rare.
