TURIN – The Allianz Stadium will once again reopen the doors to solidarity : on May 27th , the Juventus home will host the Partita del Cuore for the fourth time, which will see the Italian National Singers and Champions for Research face off.

The event, as stated in a press release published on the Juventus website, was presented today in the Sala delle Colonne of the Municipality of Turin, in the presence of the mayor, Chiara Appendino, of the President of Juventus and President of the Piedmont Foundation for the Oncology-Candiolo Institute Andrea Agnelli , together with Donna Allegra Agnelli , President of the Piedmontese Foundation for Cancer Research, Francesca Pasinelli, General Director of the Telethon Foundation and Gianluca Pecchini, Director General of National Singers.
Also this year, the proceeds of the event (ie solidarity collection and sms at number 45527) will be donated to the Piedmontese Foundation for Cancer Research and to the Telethon Foundation , committed for years in the fight against cancer and rare genetic diseases: in the during the 2017 edition, over 630 thousand euros were collected.
It will be, as always, an evening of great emotions, on and off the field, and there will be surprises: starting with the two teams, whose captains are Paolo Belli (author of the Hymn of Juventus) and Andrea Agnelli . The Italian National Singers will be coached by Gianni Morandi , flanked by Marco Masini , while the Champions for Research will be led by Michel Platini , who will have Gianluca Vialli as deputy. Among them, the Ferrari drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc , have already announced their presence, while the kick-off will be given by Cristiano Ronaldo .

I hope that the citizens respond with enthusiasm to the philanthropic initiative, with the aim of overcoming the already remarkable takings of the last edition of the Partita del cuore ».
This is how Donna Allegra Agnelli: «I am happy that the Nazionale Cantanti has decided to bring the Partita del Cuore back to Turin, confirming the desire to organize this event with us every two years. We continue a journey together to give, through this unique event of sport and solidarity, a fundamental contribution to the Candiolo Institute, where research and care coexist side by side to fight the difficult battle against cancer as effectively as possible ".

For years, the Partita del Cuore and the Telethon Foundation have been traveling together to support research on rare genetic diseases which, due to their rarity, often do not receive the attention they deserve ".
