MUGGIA – Marianna Pepe , a former shooting target , was found dead in her apartment in Muggia , in the province of Trieste. Marianna with the Army Sports Group had won five national titles between 2000 and 2004, in 2005 she had obtained an eighth place at the European Championships with the 50 meters 3-position rifle.
The former carabine champion was born in Trieste in 1979 and started shooting in 1992 at the Tsn Opicina, coached by Antonio Verlicchi. His specialty was the 3-position sports carbine.
